           Classic Beef Hamburger





Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese
  • Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Press your thumb in the center of each patty to prevent it from bulging while cooking.
  3. Season patties with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness (160°F internal temperature).
